Application for Service

Any customer who wishes to receive service from the Pulaski Electric System will comply with the following application guidelines:

A.    The customer must accurately complete an application for service.

B.    Services will be established in the name of the legal occupant of the property, i.e., the owner, legal tenant, or a legal guardian if the owner or tenant should be incapacitated.  Any service set in the name(s) of a person(s) who becomes deceased must be changed to the name of the legal occupant of the property.  Any service not corrected, after notification by PES, may be subject to disconnection.

C.    PES may refuse to connect services to anyone who has an outstanding or delinquent utility account owed to the City of Pulaski.  If a customer with an outstanding or delinquent account wishes to receive service, he/she must meet the deposit requirements, and pay half the outstanding amount at the time of application.  The remaining amount will be added to their first bill. Failure to pay the remaining delinquent amount with the first bill will result in disconnection.

D.    It is the policy of the Pulaski Electric System not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, marital status, or mental or physical handicap in access to, or operation of, its programs, services and/or activities.
