As of November 1, 2009, large commercial facility electric usage is billed based on the following fees:

Customer Charges: $500.00
Usage per kWhs: $0.04826
Demand per kW for first 1,000 kW: $19.55
Demand per kW for remaining kW: $15.04
Current Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment

The complete charge for electric service changes monthly based on the latest TVA fuel cost adjustment. This adjustment is calculated and controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority. It will rise and fall with the variable price of generation fuels. PES simply passes the adjustment through to our customers.
