Physical Address Posting

PES will require all customers requesting service, beginning October 1st, 2004, to post a physical address on the premises before service is connected.  The physical address must appear on the structure where the meter base is installed, the mailbox or the curb.

This requirement is necessary for PES restoration personnel to locate the cause of an outage in the event service is interrupted or to meet a customer request for service.

For customers who do not have a physical address posted at the time service is requested, PES will provide adhesive numbers and letters to the customer at no cost.  The numbers and letters will be made available at the PES office.
