Open Letter to Our Customers

This has been a summer to remember at PES.  While the season began with Pulaski's Board of Mayor and Alderman considering a bond request for PES capital projects, including our new SmartGrid effort, it has ended with new leadership at PES and a rededication to serve our customers in Giles County.

After serving as President and Chief Executive Officer for seven years, Ron Holcomb has left PES to pursue other career opportunities.  With his departure, the Board of Directors asked me to step in and lead the management team at PES.  After working for PES for the last four years as Executive Vice President, I am humbled and honored to take this responsibility.  In light of the events of the last few months, I wanted to write to all our customers and share our vision and focus for the future.

PES's sole purpose is to serve Giles County.  We are committed to providing reliable and convenient services with our customers in mind.  We are proud of the fact that we are a public organization.  We are committed to operating openly and responsively.  Furthermore, we will take every opportunity to search out unnecessary costs and, by working with TVA, strive to keep our rates as low as practical.

We have recently heard from many of our customers at public hearings and through one-on-one conversations.  We sincerely thank you for your business, and we will strive to provide Giles County—our friends and neighbors—with dedicated service, just as you have come to expect from us since 1891.

Sincerely,
Wes Kelley
President & CEO
